Warranty on presses

Azimuth Machinery provides a comprehensive warranty to ensure the reliability and performance of its punch presses. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.

Electrical Coverage – 5 Years

Azimuth Machinery warrants the following electrical components against defects in material or workmanship for five (5) years from the original shipment date:

 

• Safety Controller – Covers defects affecting press safety functions.

• PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) – Warranty applies to hardware failures affecting machine automation.

• HMI Screen (Human-Machine Interface) – Protects against display malfunctions and operational failures. Does not cover crack in screen or physical damage.

• Defective Cables – Covers issues impacting signal transmission and power supply.

• AC Motor – Warranty includes defects that affect performance and efficiency.

• Servo Motor – Covers failures related to motor control and press operation.

Mechanical Coverage – 3 Years or 6,000 Running Hours

Azimuth Machinery warrants the following mechanical components against defects in material or workmanship for three (3) years or 6,000 running hours, whichever occurs first, from the original shipment date:

• Major Structural Components: Frame, Crown, Bed, Upright, and Slide (Machine Casting or Weldment)

• Ballscrew – Ensures precision and operational efficiency.

• Pitman(s) – Covers defects affecting press motion and stability.

• Crankshaft(s) – Warranty applies to material failures or defects impacting machine performance.

• Slide – Protects against structural defects affecting press alignment.

• GIBS – Ensures proper guidance and stability of the press slide.

• RAM – Covers defects that impact press force and accuracy.

• Main Bushings – Covers failures that affect press operation and longevity.

• Automatic Greaser & Automatic Oiling System – Ensures proper lubrication and operational efficiency.

• Dual Safety Valve – Warranty covers failures affecting safety system functionality.

Labour Warranty – 1 Year

Azimuth Machinery provides a one (1) year labour warranty for onsite repairs related to covered components. Labour costs for warranty repairs performed after this period are not covered.

Warranty Claims & Maintenance Requirements

In the event of a machine failure, Azimuth Machinery will request the maintenance report as outlined in the Azimuth Maintenance Guide. If no maintenance reports are properly documented and up to date, the warranty may be void. Regular maintenance is essential to ensure continued warranty coverage.

Exclusions & Limitations

Travelling and lodging expenses are the customer’s responsibility and must be paid prior to the service trip.

Labour warranty is for onsite repairs only.

Any damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, modifications, or external factors is not covered.

Repairs or replacements must be conducted by an authorized Azimuth Machinery representative to maintain warranty validity.

For any warranty claims, a detailed examination by an authorized technician will determine eligibility for repair or replacement under warranty.
